How to apply for airtime at Radio Bfm

1. Firstly, click "Forms" and download the airtime application. Note: You must complete (2), (as below) prior to putting in what airtime slot you would like. Print it and complete it, then post it to the below:

Include the following details in the application:

a) The name for the proposed show or programme

b) Name or names of all proposed presenters

c) Details of the qualifications and previous experience of the proposed presenters

d) Content of the proposed show

e) What language the proposed show will be in (if more than one provide percentages)

f) How long you want the proposed show to go for

g) Time slot you wish to apply for (if you know it, please first check our online guide to see that the airtime you want is free).

h) Details of which (if any) organisations you will be representing (eg if you are doing a religious show, state which mosque/church/temple/religious society has asked you to do the show or if you are doing a multicultural show, state which cultural group you belong to.

i) Details of which (if any) sponsors you will be able to provide once your proposed show is going.

2. Please click "Prog. Guide" to see the current available airtime. If there is airtime available for your proposed show, it is still a good idea to phone the station manager to confirm that it is still free, in case it may have just been taken within hours and the web page not updated yet. 

3. Next download and complete the membership application from this website and post it to Bfm (same address as above in point 1). Alternatively, you can also download and complete the application then bring it in to the station in person. This is to become a member of the station and obtain shares and is a requirement of all on-air presenters. New member applications cost $32, and are renewed every year for $22. However, please do not send any money with your initial member application as every application must go before the board for approval. Once it is approved, you will then be asked to pay.

Note: $32 is a one-off payment only for new members. Once you are a member, you only pay for membership renewal, which is an annual fee of $22.00
